About Me

Hello, my name is Kimberly Cook. As a journalism and English student, I have learned the power that words can have, and I want to give a voice to those who need it most. It is my hope that by creating this website, that I have created a place where others can look at my work and get a better sense of who I am as a person and who I am as a writer and reporter.

The tabs you find at the top of this page will give you a glimpse intp my professional intersts and the work that I love to do.  Under the Marquette Journal tab, you will find the embedded digital copies of each issue of the Marquette Journal that was published under my tenure as Managing Editor. These publications have brought me some of the most joy that I have had in my college career thus far, and I am more than proud to share them with you.

The Marquette Wire and Milwuakee Magazine tabs will show you the work that I produced during the 2021-2022 school year. This is the year that I grew the most, not only as a journalist but as a person as well. These pieces are some of my favorite things I have ever written, and the creations that I am the most proud of.
